FACILITIES PROJECT - The Treat Cabin Remodel

The Treat Cabin was originally built as a float house and donated to Methodist Camp by Pastor Bob Treat. By 2022 it had a bathroom with an inoperable toilet and shower that was in poor repair. It also had an acoustic tile ceiling that was tired and sagging and a filthy carpet. We removed the stud walls for the bathroom, replaced the ceiling tile with sheet rock and removed the old carpet and put down waterproof laminate flooring. We also replaced the front door and added some arctic entry seating for boot changing and shelving for storage. The refresh is dramatic and the cabin looks great.
