2018 Camps

Camp Get Ready: May 19th-20th.

Friends of the camp, members of the community, board members, families– you’re all invited!!  This is camp appreciation day and the day we will dedicate our long awaited indoor restrooms at the lodge.  Share great fun and food (all day) while “waking up” the camp after the long winter.  If you wish, after a day of fun chores and activities for all ages spend the night with your family on the 19th, at no charge-need to let us know in advance.

A special appreciation dinner and dedication ceremony will be held in the main lodge at 5:30 pm.   Those who volunteer for the whole day may receive a coupon for a discounted or complimentary stay at camp.

Camp Champ: June 18-21, 2018

A positive secular camp experience for kids who might not otherwise get a chance to attend a sleep-over summer camp. The theme for 2018 is “Everyday Heroes”.

*Volunteer Opportunities for Camp Champ: As an adult coach/counselor to help supervise day activities or a cabin at night. Medical Volunteer to serve as a nurse or EMT in the evenings and mornings.Volunteer in the kitchen for a meal, half a day, or all day. Volunteer for final clean up on Thursday June 18th 1:00 – 3:00 pm. Can’t volunteer but would like to contribute? Discovery Camp: June 24-29, 2018 (Note, Camp is a full week. Sunday through Friday)

For campers entering 3rd grade –  completed 8th grade,  This year’s theme: “Branching Out!”   A fun  camp designed especially for youthful minds, Discovery Camp is just that: a place to discover God’s great creation, through a fun-filled high activity camp with a Christian spiritual emphasis. Campers will enjoy sports, games, archery, arts and crafts, nature activities outdoors, music and drama, new friends, evening campfires, and many other exciting activities. $195.00 for the week. Discounts for sibling groups.

Counselor-In-Training (CIT) Program June 23-29

For teens entering 9th  grade – completed 12th grade (under 18 years). Mandatory staff training: 23-24; Camp 24-29:  This is an exciting program available for young adults in which they have the chance to develop leadership skills that will serve them throughout their lives. CITs work directly with campers and counselors and participate in all aspects of Discovery Camp. $100.00 per CIT
