FACILITIES PROJECTS - New Construction, Maintenance, and Repair

The construction, maintenance, and repair of camp facilities is a constant process. Over the years hundreds of volunteers have spent thousands of hours building the facilities we enjoy today. The history is impressive to contemplate. The timber frame Lumber Shed has a wooden plaque commemorating the Methodist Volunteers in Mission (ViM) team from the “lower 48” that built it in 1958.

Today that work continues. The Facilities committee hosts local volunteer work teams most every weekend (Fridays and Saturdays) year round to work on something. Below is a list of our current and historical projects. We can always use an extra hand and have tasks for every skill set.

Contact the Facilities Chair to volunteer or ask any questions at: facilities@methodistcamp.org.
