FACILITIES

Buildings for Rent

We have a variety of buildings available for short-term rental. The largest are Argetsinger Lodge with its huge stone fireplace and commercial kitchen, and our flagship large cabins, Maier and Gotschall, equipped with kitchens and suitable for dozens of people to sleep in lofts and bunks in all seasons. Four smaller Winter Cabins, with heat and electricity, sleep ten people each in any season. Four Summer Cabins, without heat or electricity, can sleep eight people each. The entire campground can be rented, or subsets of buildings as needed.

The grounds also include two Fire Circles with covered bench seating, a covered Pavilion with a fireplace, and a meditation Gazebo next to a gurgling stream.

The central Bathhouse has showers, flush toilets, and laundry, and there are outhouses in convenient locations as well. Most buildings have ramp access to make them ADA accessible; ask the Camp Manager about any necessary accommodations.

Projects - New Construction, Maintenance, and Repair

The construction, maintenance, and repair of camp facilities is a constant process. Over the years hundreds of volunteers have spent thousands of hours building the facilities we enjoy today. The history is impressive to contemplate. The timber frame Lumber Shed has a wooden plaque commemorating the Methodist Volunteers in Mission (ViM) team from the “lower 48” that built it dated 1958. Today that work continues. The Facilities committee hosts local volunteer work teams most every weekend (Fridays and Saturdays) year round to work on something. We can always use an extra hand and have tasks and tools for every skill set.
